Winged Hussars Oct 23, 2021 @ 6:53pm. Troop Limit. I had a troop limit of around 600, I recruited a bunch of troops, and left, when I come back my troop limit is 118 and 100 or so soldiers left. When you are a king, extra parties are the loyal personal guard that you can always rely on. The cost peaks as the extra party recruits new soldiers, then it becomes much more reasonable. If the extra party fights in battles and earns loot, the cost is lowered further and can even turn into income. BestSide301. You need a high scouting level to be a caravan raider. Party size affects max speed, on top of having extra horses (not pack animals, including sumpter horses). Also more cav in your party. If you're below 50 party size and everyone is either cav or has a mount, the top speed is something like 6.7 without perks. You, as the quartermaster, was essentially the leader or general of your army. The party size was based off your character's limitation. When you promoted your companion to take over as leader/quartermaster his capabilities were not as good as yours. Think of it as him not having the skill or capability to lead a large army as yourself. So in this case if i was using max 1000 I'd get 2/3 x 1000 ( 666 ) and the enemy would get 1/3 x 1000 (333) If the max was set at 600 I'd get 400 and the enemy would get 200 Either way it would reflect the reality that I outnumbered the enemy if I took 50% casualties to win the battle I'd lose 400 ie the percentage of my original army Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord companions are a great way to fill out your party with stronger units. engine production and the max difficulty of siege engine that can be built.
