We’ve not had any reports of engine or gearbox problems with the 1.6-litre diesel. However, if buying used, I’d recommend a post-2016 van as this will benefit from the mid-life facelift with improved diesel engines, better handling and high levels of kit fitted as standard. It started when my engine management light came on, so went through the motion of getting it tested cane up with EGR valve so instead of cleaning as it was seased bought new and fitted my self.
